About Give A Christmas

During this holiday season, the Burlington County Times and NJ 211 partner to assist struggling local families.

The fund was first established in 1968 and since that time more than $3 million has been collected for families in need. In 2022, donors contributed over $67,000 to the Give a Christmas fund which helped hundreds of families in Burlington County.

Requesting assistance

Requests for Give A Christmas assistance through NJ 211 will be accepted from October 15 to December 1. Eligible Burlington County recipients are limited to families with children under 18. Applicants should text GAC to 898211 and follow the prompts to complete the application process. Applicants who qualify will be required to provide photo identification, a copy of a social security card or birth certificate for each eligible recipient, proof of income and address.

Requests for assistance will not be accepted by the Burlington County Times.

PO Box 70260, Philadelphia, PA 19176-9703.

We utilize a gift processing center to ensure the safe handling of your generous gifts. Please be assured that all donations to Give A Christmas will benefit the Burlington County community, impacting your local friends and neighbors.

Please include the donation form found in print in the daily newspaper or download the form at burlingtoncountytimes.com/GiveaChristmas. Please make checks or money orders payable to Give a Christmas Fund. Secure online donations can be made at burlingtoncountytimes.com/GiveaChristmas.

Donations received after December 25 will be applied to the 2024 Give a Christmas program.
