During this holiday season, the Burlington County Times and NJ 211 partner to assist local families in need.

The fund was first established in 1968 and since that time more than $3 million has been collected for families in need. In 2023, donors contributed over $55,000 to the Give a Christmas fund which helped hundreds of families in Burlington County.

Requesting assistance

Requests for Give A Christmas assistance through NJ 211 will be accepted from October 13 to November 29. Eligible Burlington County recipients are limited to families with children under 18, with a maximum of four children per eligible household. Applicants should text GAC to 898211 and follow the prompts to complete the application process. Applicants who qualify will be required to provide photo identification, a copy of a birth certificate for each eligible recipient, proof of income and address.

Requests for assistance will not be accepted by the Burlington County Times.

Donations received after December 25 will be applied to the 2025 Give a Christmas program.
