Zach Piller

Offensive tackle

Piller’s response was similar to a lot of players from the 1996 team contacted by The Sun.

“It can’t be 20 years, can it?” Zach Piller asked.

Piller was a starter on that team, a transfer from Georgia Tech. He continued to play football in the NFL, lasting eight seasons and playing in 87 games.

Seven of those seasons were spent with the Tennessee Titans and he decided to settle there once his playing days were over. He lives in the Nashville suburb of Brentwood where his wife, Victoria, cuts hair.

The Pillers have two children, a 13-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son.

“Mostly, I’m playing Mr. Mom with the 2 year old,” Piller said.

But he and his wife also brought a bar five years ago called Neighbors, which is described on its website as a “chill neighborhood bar serving BBQ, pub eats & brunch in a casual setting with TVs & a deck.”

Kind of sounds like Zach Piller.

“It’s a nice little gig,” Piller said. “If I’m going to spend money on wings and beer, at least I’m getting something back from it.”
