More than 1,400 children in Burlington County were able to experience holiday joy this season with the help of the 2025 Give A Christmas campaign.
Every year, the Burlington County Times staff partners with members of NJ211, a 24-hour nonprofit service that connects people with important resources, to run Give A Christmas.
This effort helps low-income families with children in Burlington County by providing them with funds to spend on kids for the holiday season.
It’s made possible through donations from neighbors, readers, subscribers and other community members.
This year, the campaign was able to help 547 families in need, an increase from last year.
Approximately $67,900 was distributed in the form of Amazon gift cards to help families purchase holiday gifts for 1,417 children.
In total, $89,240 was raised during the holiday season. Any money donated after Christmas is to be used in the 2026 Give A Christmas campaign.
“The Give A Christmas program not only provides critical assistance to families during the holiday season, but also brings our community together in a spirit of generosity and hope,” said Audrey Harvin, the executive editor of the Burlington County Times. “Every contribution helps brighten the holidays for our neighbors in need.”
